The Packet Station is a fabulous pub situated right in the heart of town on The Moor. It has three floors including a roof top terrace which is lovely during the summer time.
The ground floor has a long bar and a lovely open space next it to sit down with your drink. It is particularly fun to go to on a Friday evening when you have a mix of students on a night out and older people like me enjoying the start to the weekend.
The first floor has a decent sized bar as well and seats by the window to look over onto The Moor. It is normally a lively place to come and drink and as per all Wetherspoons, the prices are very reasonable.
The name of the pub owes itself to the history of Falmouth. Back in the day, Falmouth was an important packet station, handling mail from all over the world, including the British Empire.
